MePlann respects your privacy. We prioritize local data storage and transparency. This policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Data Collection & Usage

• Personal Information: MePlann stores your profile, tasks, and journal entries locally on your device using Apple's Core Data and UserDefaults. We do not maintain a central server database of your personal thoughts.
• Health Data: If enabled, we may write "Mindful Minutes" to Apple HealthKit. This data stays within your device ecosystem.

2. Google User Data Policy

MePlann's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• Data Accessed: Our app requests access to your Google Calendar (primary calendar read/write access) to allow you to view and manage your schedule alongside your productivity tasks.
• Data Usage: We use this data solely to display your calendar events within the MePlann interface and to allow you to sync MePlann tasks to your Google Calendar. We do not use this data for any other purpose.
• Data Sharing: We do not share Google user data with any third-party services. Your Google User Data is never sold, shared, or used for advertising or any other purpose other than the core functionality of this app.
• Data Storage & Protection: Google user data is fetched on-demand and may be cached locally on your device for performance. We do keep your data secure using standard device-level encryption. We do not store your Google data on our own servers.
• Data Retention & Deletion: We retain Google user data only as long as you have your Google account connected within MePlann. You can revoke access at any time via the Google Security Settings or by disconnecting your account within MePlann, which will immediately delete all locally cached Google data.

We use Apple StoreKit for subscription payments. We do not have access to your credit card details.

3. AI & Data Processing

• AI Features: MePlann uses third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) services, specifically OpenAI API, to provide features such as the "Soulmate Chat", "Tarot Readings", and "Reframes".
• Data Transmission: When you use these specific features, your text input (and relevant context like your selected mood or board data) is sent securely to the AI provider to generate a response.
• Privacy: We connect to these services using standard APIs that do not use your data for training public models. Your personal chats are not stored on MePlann's servers; they are either processed transiently or stored locally on your device.

4. Your Rights

You can delete all local data by deleting the app or using the reset options within the app settings.
