Your plans live on your phone.

MePlann stores the following only on your iPhone, in the app's private storage (Core Data and app settings):

• Boards, cards, sections and anything you save into them: links, YouTube videos, images, notes, Markdown and PDF files.
• Planner groups, lists, tasks, steps, reminders and task history.
• My Day, the board journal and Recently Deleted (items there are removed after 7 days).
• Chat history with the AI companion, Spill entries, reframes and tarot readings.
• Your self-portrait, test results (work style, focus type, Multiple Intelligences, workload check) and your workload score.

Reminders are scheduled on your device by iOS. If you turn on a passcode or Face ID lock, it is checked by iOS. MePlann never sees your Face ID data.

Items you share into MePlann from other apps (through the iOS share sheet) are copied into a storage area that only MePlann and its share extension can read, then added to My Day.

An account is optional. You need one only for AI features. Your boards, tasks, notes and chats are not uploaded to our server. When you create an account, our server stores only:

• Email address and name, to sign you in and contact you about your account.
• Password, stored only as a one-way hash (bcrypt). We can't read it.
• Plan and AI Energy balance: your subscription level, the Energy you have left, and a record of Energy packs you bought.
• AI usage counts: per day and per feature, the number of requests and the number of tokens used. We count usage. We don't store what you wrote.
• Push notification token, if you allow notifications while signed in, so we can send account and product messages.

MePlann's AI features are Chat, Spill, Reframe, Tarot, BrainFlow, task suggestions and the wording of some reminders. Before your first AI request, the app asks for your permission. If you decline, nothing is sent, and everything else in MePlann keeps working.

When you use an AI feature, the app sends the following to our server, which forwards it to the OpenAI API to generate the reply:

• The text you wrote for that feature. For Chat, this includes recent messages in the conversation.
• Context that makes the reply fit you: your self-portrait, test results and workload level.
• Tasks or cards you mention with @ in Chat, or the task you ask to split into steps.

Our server passes the request through and keeps only the usage counts described in section 2. It does not store your messages or the AI's replies. Under OpenAI's API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train their models. OpenAI may keep it for up to 30 days to monitor abuse, then deletes it.

Requests you didn't start. To word some reminder notifications, the app may send a short background request that includes your workload score and how many tasks are pending or overdue. Turn off MePlann notifications to stop these.

Safety. If something you write suggests you may be in danger, MePlann shows crisis support contacts. This check runs on your device.

Connecting a Google account is optional, and it is separate from your MePlann account. MePlann's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• **Google Drive (drive.file):** for backups. MePlann saves encrypted backup files (.mplbk, AES-256) to a MePlann/Backups folder in your own Drive: by hand, or automatically up to three times a day if you leave automatic backup on. The encryption key is kept in your iCloud Keychain (so your other devices on the same Apple ID can open the backups) and in your Recovery Code. We never receive it. If you turn them on, original images, Markdown and PDF files are also uploaded to MePlann in your Drive. These attachment files are not encrypted. This permission only lets MePlann see files it created. It can't read the rest of your Drive.
• **Google Calendar (calendar.events):** to add task reminders as events when you choose Google Calendar for reminders. MePlann creates, updates and removes only the events it made. It does not read your other events.
• Google data goes only between your device and your Google account. It does not pass through our server, and it is never sold, shared or used for advertising.

Subscriptions (Pro, Pro+) and Energy packs are sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and we never see your card details. To apply your plan and Energy to your account, the app sends Apple's signed transaction records to our server.

We don't use advertising or analytics SDKs, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

• Your account: in the app, go to Me → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, AI usage counts, Energy balance and push tokens from our server. Afterwards the app asks whether to keep or erase the data on your device.
• Data on your device: erase it during account deletion, or delete the app.
• Google: delete the MePlann folder in your Drive, and revoke access in your Google account permissions. Calendar events MePlann created stay until you remove them.
• Subscriptions are not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel them in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

You can also email us to ask for a copy of your account data or to delete it. We reply within 30 days.

Traffic between the app and our server uses HTTPS. We keep account data while your account exists and delete it when you delete the account.

MePlann is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change what we collect or who receives it, we'll update this page and the date above. For significant changes, we'll also tell you in the app.
